Dr. Sharaf-Eldeen is originally from Indialantic, Florida.  He attended Indialantic Elementary, Hoover Junior High, and Melbourne High School.  He graduated Summa Cum Laude from the College of Agricultural and Life Sciences at the University of Florida during the years 2001-2004.  He then attended and graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 2008.  Dr. Sharaf-Eldeen completed an internship in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia in 2009 and completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Michigan in 2015.  Concurrently, he graduated from the University of Michigan Medical School with a Doctor of Medicine, completed a 2-year certificate in General Surgery at the University of Michigan, and obtained training in general anesthesia at the University of Michigan.

Dr. Sharaf-Eldeen earned Board Certification by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2017 and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.  In addition, Dr. Sharaf-Eldeen earned Fellowship into the prestigious American College of Surgeons (FACS) in 2018.  He has lectured nationally and internationally on the topics of head and neck pathology and reconstruction, maxillofacial implants, fascial space infections, and facial trauma surgery.  He has a passion for lifelong learning and completed his Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at the University of Florida (2022) where he was elected to the prestigious Phi Kappa Phi Business Honor Society.  Dr. Sharaf-Eldeen also serves the State of Florida Department of Health as a General Anesthesia and Sedation inspector for all dental offices in Florida to protect, promote, and improve the health of all people in Florida through integrated state, county, and community efforts.

As a dedicated husband and father, Dr. Sharaf-Eldeen currently maintains his surgical practice in the Greater Brevard Region. His wife practices as a physician and surgeon in the field of Obstetrics and Gynecology/Women’s Health.  They have two sons: Laith and Zakariya and a daughter: Lana Yasmin.  His interests outside of work include college football, college basketball, all things Florida, and spending time with family and friends.
